I love wheels. They’re great for borders, backgrounds, boxes, wrapping paper, stationery, and of course cards. But I’ve always wondered how some of the samples that I’ve seen were created that have colored images
It finally occurred to me that you can just color the wheel with markers the same as you would a stamp. I’ve always just used the ink cartridges for the wheels or rolled them on an ink pad.

After getting and playing with the Flip Flops wheel from the Stampin’ UP! summer mini catalog, I found that you can roll the lengthwise of a standard card and not repeat the pattern.
I haven’t experimented with a scrap page border yet though. I did this for the Going My Way 6×6 layout for the crop club.
